The Phare de Cordouan

This is the only lighthouse in the open sea that is open to the public. Departing off from Le Verdon, aboard the La Bohême II and III launches, with a crossing of about 45 minutes (access to the site is subject to tide schedules and coefficients that vary daily) and after climbing the 311 steps leading to the lantern, you will have a magnificent view of the Gironde and the Pointe de Grave.
